Death

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, [and be] their God.  And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.  And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.  And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. Rev 21:3-7

Visiting the living word of God (Bible) I was impressed greatly by the account in Revelation 21 starting in verse 3 as it presents us with an image of death. God created us  so that he may dwell with us throughout eternity. What a powerful revelation of what the results will be when we enter into the presence of God. The witness of this virus provides us with a reality that death at any time can come and visit  us. Ask yourself are you prepared to enter in the presence of God. Jesus will receive us on the other side. These living words from Revelation 3 gives us an image and the reality concerning our transition into eternity. It reads:  And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.  Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.  Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels Rev 3:1-7.
For all of us who have not transitioned into eternity the living word reminds us to hold fast to what we believe and repent (turn away)  we need to shut down the noise and prepare ourselves to reside in the presence of our Holy  God. Amen.
