In his second year in office there are some similarities to President Obama and his predecessor President Lincoln. In physical appearance both are lean , tall left handed and intelligent. Just like Lincoln he is damned if you do damned if you don't. I believe the presidency takes many years off the life of the President. If you ever look at a picture of Lincoln you kinda see a pic of President Obama. Notice how there faces are drawn in.

Moving through life to eternity I have come to realize that through its complexities we get of course concerning the root of who we are. In the creation model the strength in our completeness revolves around the piece that is missing. This is the strength of the deception used by satan to remove us from the glory of God. Triple Self Portrait

In these trying times it becomes apparent that we examine ourselves in order to move into the future during these tmes. Such as the creator created Himself in the form of the spriit, soul, and body(Jesus Christ) it is in this image that we find similarities. In our attemps to navigate this life we find His example of the trinity in every area of our lives. Unless we examine ourselves and line up with His script we will never live out His glory in our lives.

Sometimes our converstion is pointed in the wrong direction towards the wrong source.When moved into the marvelous light it begins to translate life into living. As believers and people in the dicipline of the Lord Jesus Christ our conversation should always present a welcome to those who are not of our faith.

Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone. Colossians 4:6

Foot Of The Cross

This piece was created as a reminder to find the foot of the cross of Jesus Christ during these most challenging times. It is at the foot of the cross where his precious blood cleanses me unto righteousness. Hebrews 12:2 illustrates this point. It says; looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.Our victory is at the foot of the Cross

Tapping In II

Another view of wonderful posture which is necessary for all of us at one time or another. To reach the power which is greater than us (God) we have to come to that place and time in our life, day and sometimes hour that will keep us from being overwhelmed by the fallen nature of this world and the god of it. It is the power that allow us to live.

Mom 2

One of the most wonderful illustrations of love is when Mom presents it to the glory of God. A mothers love can can take us a long way. In my most trying and challenging times I continue to visit the soul of a mother whose love was genuinely available to me. Remember it's mom's law and care that sets the tone on how we manage relationships in our life. Amen

This image serves as a reminder of the posture and glory when we give thanks to God. Our gratiude expresses an overwhelming desire to bless God with the image He created ,deposited and invested in is since the beginning of time. I believe that encountering this posture is a true expression of faith which is manifested daily in our lives.

Conversation

Created back in 2005 this image was born out of the midst of conversation being waged in the defense of our culture, religion, race,poverty, and so on which is on the decline. My main intention here is the present an illustration which references the way we have conversations with each other. Notice that all of the images are away from facing each other. Our conversations dance around the issues instead of facing them.

I revised this piece to take advantage of the wonderful image. The image comes from a visit I made to Santa Anita racetrack in Southern California back in 2001. I grabbed this photo from the lower level of the grandstand. What a powerful piece to witness the power of those beautiful horses negotiating that last turn for home.

Living Water VI Sunrise

Imagine laying in the shadow of the instrument God used to free us for His eternal glory. With the most incredible sunrise you could imagine. No worries , death, hurt,, pain, or remants of a fallen world. Just the incredible love of God through His son the Lord Jesus the Christ showering over you with the living water ministering to all of our needs.

For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."

Mom

In honor of mothers this piece was created at 4 in the morning on Mothers Day 2010. I try to capture the essence of the relationship mom has with their children. As a man and a son it is an honor to speak to soul of a mother whose love was genuinely available to us. Remember it's mom's instruction and care that sets the tone on how we manage relationships in our life. Amen

Living Water III

Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted
Matthew 5:4

Third in the Living Water series of images it presents the posture needed when going through our most challenging moments. In the fifth chapter of Matthew our Lord illustrates to us one of the many blessings recieved whenever we encounter this action. Myself there are many issues and situations I find myself in where I need to mourn the challenge in order to be comforted for the outcome.
Speaking to all of my brothers in Christ we find it difficult to attain this position. My advice visit it and you will claim victory in those most challenging of circumstances. Amen

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word,

Number 5 in the Living Water Series the image provides me with an insight to the scripture in Ephesians Chapter 5. I believe that the revival we are praying for finds its foundation in these spiritual insights found in the Word of God.
As men the process necessary to a successful marriage begins with this piece out of the book of Ephesians. When we believe with our hearts and begin to cleanse the rib returning to our bodies with the Word of God, then the wonderful covenant of marriage will begin to produce the spiritual seed necessary for the revival and end time harvest.
