His Presence

For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power, so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power.
1 Corinthians 2: 2-5

One of the most effective ways I found in communicating Christ is demonstrated when our hearts and thoughts take on the fear of Him. I can identify with the apostle Paul in this passage concerning the weakness and fear. The message then becomes one that is presented with the power of God and not our own. The wisdom of men is unable to deliver the power because it is birthed in the hearts of man and not the breath of life distributed by God the Father through our Lord Jesus the Christ and the Holy Spirit. Only in the presence of the trinity can the substance that is hoped for matriculate into the promise and glory of God concerning those who believe Him. Without faith it is impossible to please Him. (Hebrews 11:6) If we can see it and control it it no longer belongs to God. Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. (1 Corinthians 2:9) We have not seen it yet or heard it or has it entered our hearts. This means that daily there is an opportunity to benefit from the presence of God. (Psalm 68:19)The power that rest with the fear of God is available to all of us. Let it be the resource we use to present the gospel of our Lord Jesus the Christ instead of the wisdom of men. Remember He is Lord and King. He will return to be seated on his throne for ever and ever. (Eternity) Love someone today. Spend time in the presence of the Lord so that you can effectively present a witness hinged on the power of God and not the wisdom of men.
Amen.
